“fter Spring takes place in Autumn, when the students of Seigatsu Gakuen are busy with preparations for the upcoming cultural festival. They’re holding an exhibition, and some advisors from USA come to help the students. Yahisa Tsukiko, along with her childhood friends Nanami Kanata and Tohzuki Suzuya, are surprised to see their friend Tomoe Yoh there. Yoh had come to see her in March, but left for America by the end of Spring.

It turns out that Yoh is one of the advisors, and he’ll be staying in Japan until the culture festival is over.” I am sooo happy to announce that yesterday, announced the release of the english patch of After Spring that they were working on! (ノ≧∀≦)ノ You can download the patch. (Please note that the download only includes the patch.) You can apply it if you already have the Japanese game. There are further instructions in.

As you can see the patch works perfectly fine on me! I used AppLocale to play this because it requires you to change your system locale to Japanese to play this game. I hope you guys enjoy this game! ^^ Game Installation If you’ve already tried installing and you messed up, proceed to Step 1.

If this is your first time installing, skip to Step 2. Please uninstall the game first. Make sure the game is completely uninstalled. The “Starry☆Sky~AfterSpring~” folder should be completely gone in the directory you installed and you should not see the game in the Control Panel. Change your system locale to Japanese before installing the game. (this step is very important) 3.

After restarting your computer, run the setup. Install the game. Just click next until it finishes installing. (After you’ve finished installing it, if you will check the game folder, you will not see any Rio+.arc files in there. Download the version 1.1 update here: 6.

Run the updater. After you’ve finished that, check your game folder again.

(you should now see a Rio+.arc file in it.) 7. Replace the Rio+.arc file in the game folder with the one in the patch. Run the game. (The game should run perfectly fine now.) You can play it now while your system locale is in Japanese. OR you can change it back to your original locale and just use APPLOCALE to run play the game. Hi, first of all, I really like your blog and I’d like to thank you in advance for actually taking the time to help dummies (like myself) with these technicall stuff. Unfortunately, I’ve found a problem with my.ISO. After installing the game patch, everything’s good. I actually can see the.arc file.

Do I ONLY need to replace that file? Because on the intructions that come with the english patch it says that I should replace the files that come with it with the ones of the game. Also, how can I do that? Is there a special program to be able to remove files/delete from an ISO? It’s already mounted, and I currently use Daemon Tools but the option of deleting files doesn’t appear?? Thank you for visiting my blog. And you’re very welcome, I’m glad to be of help.

Starry Sky In Spring English Patch

^^ You can just replace the files on the folder where you can see the.arc files without needing any program. Just copy the files from the english patch you downloaded (Rio+.arc, ED00.dat, etc.) and then, go to the folder where you installed the game, and paste the copied files there. It will prompt you that the files already exist and will ask if you wanna replace them, just choose Yes and it should be fine.

Starry☆SkyIn Spring is an otome game for PC by honeybee. It is the first in a series of four games. Each game is set during a different season, and each game features three guys with personalities based on their zodiac sign. There is an unofficial English patch for In Spring by OGE. I followed the link provided by to download the English patch.

Their link and other info can be found. Note: The download link site has changed, and I can’t confirm whether the download is still safe or not. Story: The MC Tsukiko Yahisa (name changeable) is the first and only female student at Seigetsu Academy, a school specializing in astronomy. She attends this boarding academy with her childhood friends Kanata and Suzuya.

Both are protective of her because she is the only girl. One day in early spring, a new transfer student arrives. His name is Yoh, and he transferred to Seigetsu academy for one very special reason: Tsukiko.

Gameplay: The game is made up of scenes that occur throughout the spring. The choices correlate to each guy. Some of them are easy to figure out. If you want to pursue Kanata, then the choice “talk with Kanata” would be the best choice. Others are not as easy to figure out the correlation. At a certain point toward the end of the game, you will be locked in to one of the guy’s routes based on your earlier choices.

From here, choices only affect your relationship with that guy. There are two endings. One ending, which I would call the good ending, happens two years later when you graduate. The other ending, or best ending, happens five years later at your wedding. Characters: Tsukiko Yahisa - She cares deeply for her friends and often expresses a desire for everyone to get along together. She’s a bit forgetful too.

It takes her a little time to process when the guys confess to her, so she doesn’t immediately return their feelings. The routes are definitely a case of the guy falling in love first. She did this with Kanata, and even more so with Suzuya. Poor guy had to wait days! It doesn’t take her long to accept and return Yoh’s feelings though. To be fair, he confessed his feelings since the moment he showed up, so it didn’t come as a surprise I guess. Kanata - Kanata is the impulsive, funny, care-free guy.

He sleeps in and skips class a lot. He has health problems, which causes Tsukiko and Suzuya to worry about him.

He hates to be worried over though, and he often tries to disprove his physical weaknesses by fighting. He’s considered the tsundere, but I never thought he came off as cold or hostile. He just doesn’t admit his true feelings or motivations.

He’s very protective of Tsukiko. In contrast to his tough-guy front, he’s actually a bit of a crybaby, but utterly adorable about it. Kanata immediately doesn’t like Yoh.mini-thought: His voice actor does an amazing job!

Yoh - Yoh is the French/Japanese transfer student. He immediately tells Tsukiko how he feels about her.

He’s reserved around everyone else and doesn’t care if he has any other friends besides her. Dude is always HUNGRY! He is a bit insecure about his Japanese dialect and his unique looks, but Tsukiko’s kindness gives him confidence. Despite his small stature, he’s a skilled fighter.mini-thought: I’m probably alone in this, but Yoh may be my favorite character. He’s always up front and honest with the MC.

I think that once Tsukiko returns his feelings, he’s so kawaii! Suzuya - Suzuya is kind, reserved, and dependable. He’s often the mediator between Kanata and Yoh. He’s an excellent cook and often cooks for the group. Suzuya, unlike Kanata, doesn’t let his jealousy show (up to a point). He is always watching out for Tsukiko from the side. When he finally admits his feelings, Tsukiko leaves him hanging.

I could have hit my computer I felt so bad for him! Once she gets over her indecisiveness, Suzuya gets quite jealous. Close to yandere status jealous.mini-thought: Suzuya runs a close second behind Yoh for my favorite. The thing I liked about Suzuya is well, he’s so sweet in general. But also, a few of his choices allow Tsukiko to do things on her own. For example, one of Suzuya’s choices allows Tsukiko to intervene between Kanata and Yoh, rather than just siding with one of them.

Also, when Tsukiko goes to talk to the upperclassman, Suzuya’s choice is to talk to him on her own. And in typical Suzuya fashion, he is waiting in the sidelines just to make sure everything is alright.

Art: The art is gorgeous and consistent in quality. The uniforms are so awesome looking!

And the way each guy wears them is characteristic of their personalities. Tsukiko has no eyes, but this wasn’t the first game I’ve played that did this. The odd thing is the kiss CGs. If you have heard anything about this game, you already know about the screen kissing!

It’s odd (and a little awkward imo), but I think it’s become a staple of these games. Music: I like the music a lot. It never got on my nerves or felt too repetitive.

Good quality with a variety of instruments/sounds and moods. Final Thoughts: This is one of my favorites! Top 5 material. My only complaint (but not really) is that some of the common scenes can get repetitive if you replay it a lot, but that’s what the skip function is for.

I want to play the other games so bad.
