No Cd Patch For Combat Flight Simulator 3
EDIT: Move from other thread Ooops, eh! You should have stuck to your other post. This thread began as a Win7 issue, so I went on auto-pilot;) forgetting your thread was for Win10. DRM Blocking is built into WIn10. It cannot be uninstalled, and the commands to disable it don't work in Win10. A noCD fix is the only way around this evil malware with Win10. I don't have cfs3, but the noCD for cfs2 works on Win10, and I believe the fix for cfs3 has worked for others.
I did download and verify that cfs3 did have a basic noCD fix, and razers fixes generally work well (some fixes have other files that need replacing). I previously thought the two games were the same except for having different maps, but I've just discovered that cfs3 uses a different game engine (not as mod friendly as the cfs2 engine apparently) - The cfsres.dll and common.dll would be a game specific files, but these are not in cfs2.

As these are game specific files reinstalling the game will hopefully fix the problem. The MSVCP70.dll is a Visual C file. Hopefully the install disk for CFS3 has a vcredist.exe that installs the version of C that includes this file ( CFS2 has no C installer ). The game should install C automatically, but if there is an installer on the disk you can run the installer manually. I expect MSVCP70.dll would be installed in the games folder in this instance, but it may get installed in System32 where other C files live? - These errors may indicate that the noCD does actually work, but the games install is corrupt, or you need to do some tweaking for CFS3 that is not required for CFS2?
- Also install the patch This site may prove useful (where I just found out about the different game engines) - Another useful site that has the 3.1a patch, but you have to be a member to download. Some tricks used in this video that would not be required with CFS2, but may be what you need for CFS3?
